Spotted renewed scania truck on approch

Images have surfaced from a Scania truck with noticeable changes to the cab. The camouflaged truck was captured at a production site in China and betrays a breath of fresh air due to the design of the Swedish manufacturer.

What immediately stands out is the greatly changed front. The design looks rounder and more aerodynamic than the current model. The nose seems a bit more convex, and in style fits in with recent developments of other European brands. Under the camouflage you can see details of a completely new grille and a custom bumper part.

Classic mirrors and mirrors

Although previous prototypes of Scania have already been spotted with camera mirrors, this test truck is still equipped with traditional ones. This may be an early test phase, with a focus on other elements. The fact that the switch to digital mirrors is still coming in the long term seems plausible. As with Ford, these cameras will be at the bottom of the window line and not above the door such as Mercedes-Benz.

 Prepared for stricter rules

The camouflage around the dashboard and the A-pillars suggests that Scania is preparing for the upcoming European requirements around direct sightlines from the cab. These regulations, intended to make vulnerable road users more visible to the driver, will have far-reaching consequences for cabin designs in the coming years.

In the background, Scania and sister brand MAN are also working together on a completely new, aerodynamic cabin. This development is independent of the current prototype and is aimed at a joint, future-proof generation of trucks within the Traton group. The Skewjer Scania thus seems to be an intermediate step towards that greater innovation.

IS THIS MAY BE THE NEW SCANIA ?

Truck Manufacturing companies always trying to launch their products with new features , to add new modern attractive desingn , driver confort , futuristic , ecofriendly and more economical . So scania also do research and testing their products to archive these goals . Today I am going to say news about a testing truck  sometimes it may be next scania truck .

Note :- Credit of Photos goes to their respective owners and information sourses .

From 2023, photos of vehicles in white and black camouflage, very accurately camouflaging the front of the body, appeared on the Internet. Now, however, a new view has appeared on the roads, in the form of copies with yellow and black stickers, much less covering the details. Thanks to this, we can see that Scania has prepared completely new headlights, redesigned the radiator grille and rounded the mirror caps. You can also get the impression that the central part of the front wall has a convex character.

In earlier copies, those with white and black wrapping, it was possible to notice a dashboard with a well-known shape. Meanwhile, in the new "test" ones, the yellow and black ones, the masking also covered the entire desktop. So you can assume the presence of a new dashboard, and you can even notice some differences. In the part located in front of the driver, it has a much less rounded layout than before, but on the passenger side it is very low. Something like this may fit into the new requirements for direct visibility from the cabin, prepared for 2027-2029.

The truck in the photo was captured in Sweden. It is a tractor with Swedish registration, registered in January 2025. Under the cab – an R-series – is the new 460 hp Super power unit. The new generation of Scanias is expected to be unveiled this year and perhaps the name Streamline will return.

One of the photos with the new camouflage was taken in Sweden, with the tractor on Swedish plates. The latter indicate a vehicle registered in January 2025, equipped with a 460 hp engine and an R-series cabin. The tractor captured there even reveals additional details, having a catalytic converter without a side cover and a double pre-filter protruding under the rear wall of the cab. But where did this test unit come from in China? Everything probably refers to the fact that Scania's own factory has just started in Rugao, China, to produce trucks for the needs of local customers.

The necessary changes also seem to have been made in the interior. Previous test models still showed a dashboard that closely resembled the current design. But in the yellow-black versions, the entire dashboard is now camouflaged. This indicates that something new is also on the way inside. Based on the contours, we suspect that the part for the driver in particular is less rounded than before. The dashboard on the passenger side is remarkably low, a bit like we know it with the new generations of DAFs. Scania may be responding to the stricter requirements for direct vision, which will come into force in Europe in a few years.

When can we expect the premiere? Unfortunately, there are still no leaks on this subject. However, since the camouflage is taking on a less and less extensive form, and the tests have been extended to another continent, the Swedes are clearly preparing for the official unveiling of the vehicle. Personally, I assume that it is a matter of a few or several months.

Toyota has started testing a new hydrogen-powered truck

In collaboration with Coca-Cola and Air Liquide, Toyota is undertaking a pilot programme for a new hydrogen fuel cell, zero tailpipe emission long-haul truck.

Toyota has provided a proof-of-concept hydrogen truck to demonstrate fuel cell technology’s efficiency and viability for heavy duty transportation

Heavy duty trucks equipped with hydrogen fuel cell technology have the potential to reduce the carbon footprint of long-haul logistics operations and stimulate the development of a sustainable hydrogen refuelling infrastructure
( 2024-July )

The hydrogen-powered truck utilises Toyota fuel cell modules which combine hydrogen (H₂) and oxygen (O₂) molecules into water while simultaneously generating electricity. As a result, the only tailpipe emission is water. Moreover, fast refuelling ensures high utilisation rates.

Air Liquide, a leader in the production and distribution of low-carbon and renewable hydrogen, supplies hydrogen from renewable origin for this project. This collaboration highlights the significance of concurrent development of both vehicles and infrastructure to foster a more sustainable society.

Through these hydrogen truck projects, Toyota intends to support the decarbonisation of heavy duty road transport, which accounts for a quarter of European freight transport based on tonne-kilometres performed. Commercial trucks’ usage patterns and their demand for large volumes of hydrogen position them as key contributors in developing sustainable hydrogen infrastructures.

Hyliko is a French start-up with the mission to deploy Europe’s most efficient, decarbonised freight transport fleet. The company is convinced that the most suitable solution for decarbonising heavy mobility is the rapid and easily accessible deployment of green hydrogen. Hyliko has therefore set-up Europe’s first carbon-negative decarbonisation solution for the logistics and road transport sectors. It consists of four key elements. Hydrogen trucks. A system to lease and maintain these trucks. A network of super-green hydrogen stations. And the management of carbon credits.
( 2023-february )

The most critical component of a hydrogen truck is the hydrogen fuel cell module. It had to be well-proven on the road, totally reliable, high performance … all of which pointed Hyliko in only one direction. “We are absolutely thrilled to partner with Toyota,” said Ovarith Troeung, CEO of Hyliko. “Renowned for their reliability and performance levels, Toyota fuel cell modules are key components in the design and construction of our new hydrogen trucks.” Hyliko’s 44-tonne tractor and 26-tonne straight truck will each be equipped with two Toyota fuel cell modules.

165 tons Boiler transpotation truck stucked on the bridge in javilli france on 24th of February

This Monday, February 24, an exceptional convoy transporting a 165-ton boiler overturned on the Gabriel-Fauré bridge, in Jarville-la-Malgrange, in the metropolis of Greater Nancy. The 22-year-old driver, who works for the Wack company in Rohrbach-lès-Bitche, in Moselle, was injured in the head.

The partially overturned oversized load of 30 meters in length, 6.5 meters in width, 7.5 meters in height and weighing 165 tons will be released with a special truck crane in the coming days. The boiler is secured for the time being against falling from the bridge. According to Metropolis, the bridge rails could carry 300 tons.
According to Jarville Mayor Vincent Matheron, who met on site, it appears that the crane will finally arrive at the site by Thursday.

Afternoon Jarville Mayor Vincent Matheron confirmed the arrival of two cranes, normally tomorrow, on Wednesday! So things really evolved during the day.
Why the two cranes? A second crane is needed to assemble the first crane because it will arrive in the form of a construction site with separate elements.
His origin? Belgium next door.
According to the latest information, a 1200-ton capacity crane or two 700-ton capacity cranes will have to be called to the action. However, France does not have such heavy car cranes, they will be supplied from abroad.

The cause of the accident:
After yesterday's visit to the site, the director of the Rohrbach-lès-Bitche (Moselle) transport company Pierre Wack can explain the causes of the accident.
“We had only one possible way to deliver our boiler. But because it included a bridge after which Grand Nancy banned exceptional convoys, our client had to install a metal bridge. And it happened that the left part of this bridge fell very quickly by fifty centimeters, balancing the whole thing. This is not a material failure or a driver's error, but rather this collapse of only one part of the bridge.

Driver's information:
Behind the wheel of a tractor was a 22-year-old driver who caused a head injury while jumping out of the cabin and required a hospital stay.
When the truck began to roll over Monday, the 22-year-old driver jumped out of the passenger's door to escape. He returned home the day after the accident.
"He has five stitches, he's in shock, but he's fine," reassures Pierre Wack, director of the transport company of the same name hired for this convoy.
The behavior of his employee is highlighted: "He did a perfect job from start to finish, he made no driving errors, drove at the right speed and above all had an incredible reflex to go the opposite way." Because there was a real threat that the ban would not hold and everything would fall into the water. We were really lucky. "
